Previous BJK fills, which has shrunk and had disfigured the flagon were removed in a sealed acetone environment. It was then recontructed and bonded with Paraloid B72 and filled with removeable plaster fills. Fills were then retouched with complimentary colours.

After the removal of corrosion, using air abrasion, the friable metal was consolidated with Paraloid B72 in acetone. Inert Packaging was then created.
